How does the fasting tracker work?

Your fasting tracker helps you structure your fasting and eating windows to fit your routine. And you can activate, adjust, or cancel your fast at any time.

The tracker is here to guide you, not restrict you. You decide what works best for your day 💚

How can I activate my fasting tracker?

To start a fasting tracker:
  • Open the Yazio app
  • Tap on the Fasting tab
  • Select your preferred fasting method
  • If needed, tap on Manually adjust fasting times
  • Set your preferred fasting window
  • Tap on Start tracker

Once activated, meals within your fasting window will show an hourglass symbol ⏳

You can always adjust your fasting times later to better match your daily rhythm.

What does the hourglass symbol next to my meals mean?

If you see an hourglass symbol next to a meal, it means this meal falls within your fasting window.

Depending on your selected method:
  • Certain meals are marked during fasting hours
  • Snacks may be blocked to support clear meal breaks
  • You can still log meals in other categories if needed

Taking mindful breaks between meals can help you build a routine that works for you 🌱

How can I cancel my active fasting tracker?

If you’d like to stop or change your current fast, here’s how:
  • Open the Yazio app
  • Go to the Fasting tab
  • Tap on the pencil icon in the top right corner
  • Tap Cancel Fast and confirm

Your fast will stop immediately.

To return to the Fasting tab:
  • Tap on the X in the top right corner on iOS
  • Tap on the X in the top left corner on Android

Once canceled, the hourglass symbol next to your meals will disappear, and you can distribute your calories across all meals again.
