I can't control my cravings for sweets, what can I do?

First, you should check that your blood sugar levels are stable throughout the day. You can achieve a stable blood sugar level as follows:

  • Choose complex carbohydrates (oatmeal, brown rice, whole grain bread, potatoes, legumes).
  • Eat carbohydrates at every meal.
  • Take 3 to 5 hours rest between meals and avoid sweetened beverages.
  • Eat sweets as a "dessert" of a meal.

If none of this helps, try to see if your desire to eat sweets is triggered by emotions (stress, sadness, worry, anger) and if you tend to compensate for these feelings with sweets. If necessary, seek additional professional support from a nutritionist.

Every body is different, and not everyone is able to cope the same way with our recommendations. Always try to listen to your body and check regularly if the measures taken are appropriate and effective for you. If necessary, seek additional professional support from your doctor or nutritionist.

We hope that you were able to find answers to all your questions and wish you a great journey with YAZIO.
