At the top of your diary, you can see your daily calorie goal and your nutrient goals for carbohydrates, fat, and protein.
If these values change automatically, nothing is wrong. The app is adjusting to your activity and energy needs.
Why does this happen?
When you log activities, your energy needs can increase. To reflect this, Yazio updates your goals automatically:
- The calories you burn are added to your daily energy needs
- Remaining calories are recalculated
- Your nutrient goals update to match your remaining calories
This means you don’t need to do any calculations yourself. The goals shown always reflect what your body needs based on your current activity level. 😌
How can I enable or disable burned calories?
You can decide whether burned calories are included in your daily goals, so your Diary works the way that feels right for you. 💚
If you prefer fixed calorie and nutrient goals, you can turn this option off in just a few steps:
- Tab Profile
- Go to Settings
- Tab Diary and Water tracker
- Enable or disable Include Activities in Calorie Goal
Your Diary updates automatically based on your choice, no extra steps needed ✨
