What do the red and green colors in my Diary mean?

In your Diary calendar, each day is marked with a red X or a green check mark.

You’ll also see the same color reflected on your Summary card.

These colors help you quickly understand how your day is shaping up based on your personal goal and the entries you’ve logged. 🌱

The color for each day is based on a comparison between:
  • calorie goal
  • overall goal
  • logged activities
  • the calories you’ve logged so far

This helps you stay oriented, without judging or pressuring you. You’re always in control. 💚

Lose or Maintain weight?

If your goal is Lose weight or Maintain weight, here’s how to read the colors:

  • Green
    • You’re under your calorie goal for the day
    • You still have calories left
    • The Summary card also stays green if you go slightly over your goal, up to 2%
  • Red
    • You’re over your calorie goal
    • Your logged activities didn’t fully balance out the calories you logged

This is simply a snapshot, not a verdict. One day never defines your journey.

Build muscle?

If your goal is Build muscle, the colors work a little differently:

  • Green
    • You’ve reached or exceeded your calorie goal
    • The Summary card turns green as soon as you reach 98% of your goal
  • Red
    • You haven’t reached your calorie goal yet

This helps ensure your body gets the energy it needs to support your training and recovery. 💪
