A Meal is a saved combination of foods that you often enjoy together and want to add to your Diary as a single entry.
Meals help you track familiar food combinations quickly and calmly, without extra steps 💚
Examples of meals:
- A slice of bread with butter
- A bowl of cornflakes with milk
- Coffee with sugar
Each meal always counts as one serving.
How can I create a meal?
Creating meals helps you save food combinations you regularly prepare in the same proportions. This makes everyday tracking easier and more relaxed.
Create a meal from your Diary
- Tap on More on your Diary
- Open the Edit icon in the top right corner
- Select the foods you want to group as a meal
- Choose Create a Meal from the menu at the bottom
- Enter a description for your meal and confirm
Your meal now appears in your list of created meals.
Create a meal directly from a category
- Open the + button in a meal category
- Tap on the three dots at the top of the screen
- Choose New Meal
- Enter a description and add the foods you want to combine
- Save your meal
- Select Add to include it in the chosen category
You can find your saved meals under Meals → Created.
Where else might meals come from?
Yazio may suggest meals based on foods you often log together.
You’ll find these suggestions in the Meals tab, and you decide if you want to use them 🌱
How can I edit or delete a meal?
You can adjust meals anytime, your routine can change, and your meals can change with it 😊
- Open the + button in a meal category
- Switch to Meals → Created
- Select the meal you want to update
On Android:
- Open the three dots in the top right corner
- Choose Edit or Delete Meal
On iOS:
- Scroll down
- Choose Edit or Delete Meal
