Creating your own recipe lets you save food combinations you use often and document how they’re prepared. You can set portions that work for you, add preparation steps, and view nutritional values for the full recipe or selected portions.
To create a recipe, follow these steps:
- Open your Diary
- Tap on the + button for any meal
- Tap three dots in the top right corner
- Select New recipe
- Add at least two foods as ingredients
- Enter the recipe details and save it
❗ Please note: Recipes you create are stored locally on your device. In some cases, they may not sync across multiple devices.
Where can I find the recipes I created in Yazio?
You can access your personal recipes anytime from the Diary.
- Open your Diary
- Tap on the + button for any meal
- Go to the Recipes tab below the search bar
- Select Created
So you can easily find and reuse recipes you’ve already set up!
How can I edit or delete my own recipes?
You can change or remove your personal recipes at any time.
- Open your Diary
- Tap on the + button for any meal
- Go to the Recipes tab
- Select Created
- Choose the recipe you want to update
Then follow the steps for your device:
iOS
- Tap on the edit icon in the top right corner
- Select Edit or Delete recipe
Android
- Tap on the three dots in the top right corner
- Select Edit or Delete recipe
Your changes apply immediately on the device you’re using. 🚀
