What does it mean for a food to be verified?

A food is verified when certain factors indicate that the calorie and nutritional information in the entry are correct. This occurs, for example, when our team performs a manual review. Additionally, when the food comes from a trustworthy source, it is marked as “verified”. If you find suitable verified food for your search, we recommend using it.
