Fitbit is changing how it connects to other apps. Your Fitbit band or watch will still track your activity as usual. But to sync your steps and workouts with Yazio, you’ll need to connect through Google Health (Fitbit) instead of directly to Fitbit.
Read on to see what’s changing and how to sync your Fitbit activity with Yazio.
Key dates & what they mean for you
If you haven't connected Fitbit to Yazio yet:
Starting October 1, 2026, Google will no longer allow new Fitbit connections, which is why Fitbit no longer appears under Automatic Tracking in your Yazio Profile. From October 30, 2026, you’ll be able to sync your Fitbit activity by connecting Yazio to Google Health (Fitbit).
If you’ve already connected Fitbit to Yazio:
Your current Fitbit connection will keep working until October 30, 2026. After that, Google will disable existing Fitbit connections. You’ll need to connect Yazio to Google Health (Fitbit) before then to keep your activity syncing without interruptions.
