Yazio and Polar Flow

Data sync overview

Polar Flow to Yazio:

  • Steps, training activities and burned calories
  • Weight

🚫 Note: Yazio does not currently send data to Polar Flow.

Connection requirements

To establish a connection:

  • Make sure you have a Yazio Pro subscription.
  • Activate the connection under Automatic Tracking in your Yazio Profile.
  • Check that data is available on your Polar Flow dashboard. Yazio only transfers data from this website, not the Polar Flow app.

Syncing process

The calories burned through steps and activities are only counted once by Yazio. Under Activities, we indicate the number of steps taken under normal conditions or during a workout. However, we only consider steps that have not already been tracked through an activity.

To do this, we automatically subtract your step calories from the exercise calories and only use the difference between the two.

If you feel the activity calories are too high, check your Polar Flow account settings. We can only calculate burned calories correctly if your data there is accurate.

Troubleshooting data transfer

If your Polar Flow data doesn’t transfer to Yazio, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the Polar Flow account used in the app is the same one connected to Yazio.
  2. If your activities appear in the app but not in Yazio, log in to your Polar Flow dashboard and check if they are visible there.

Remember: We sync data from the online dashboard, not directly from your device.

I still have connection issues
