If you are following a vegetarian, vegan, or pescatarian diet, you can specify this in the app so that you only see recipe suggestions based on your dietary preferences.
When you open YAZIOfor the first time, you are asked to answer several questions to customize the app's content. Among other things, you have the option to select a particular diet by clicking on "vegetarian", "vegan" or "pescatarian".
You can also customize the app's content to your dietary preferences by following these instructions in the app:
- Android: Open the Profile tab / iOS: Click on "More", then on "Profile".
- Click on the gear symbol in the top right corner to open the Settings
- Select "Profile" and then "Dietary preference".
- You can then choose between “vegetarian”, “vegan” or “pescatarian”.
This will automatically apply the "vegetarian", "vegan" or "pescatarian" filter to the Recipes tab so that you will only see recipes that meet your dietary preferences.
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to customize the Coach tab of the app. Therefore, the recipes offered in this tab may not match your diet. We apologize for this inconvenience. However, we want to improve the app for vegetarians, vegans and pescetarians and are also working on vegetarian versions of our most popular food programs.
In the meantime, you can try following the "7-Day no meat challenge" and "Vegan for a week" programs or even create your own meal plan in the Coach tab of the app.
Please note: It is only possible to customize your profile based on dietary preferences starting with YAZIO version 7.5.0 on iOS 14 / Android 7.0 or later.
